MME Awards kicks off festival summer at Liveurope Festival at Palaç Akropolis in Prague

Music Moves Europe Awards and Liveurope join forces during the Liveurope Festival at Palaç Akropolis in Prague on May 25th and 26th. In cooperation with Music Moves Europe Awards the festival offers a stage to as many as 5 Music Moves Europe Award artists from across Europe.

KOIKOI (RS), Kids Return (FR) Monikaze (LT) and Amelie Siba (CZ) are announced as part of the line-up, as well as MME alumni Bratři (CZ). MME Awards is proud to kick off a vibrant festival season packed with performances of MME23 nominees and MME alumni at Liveurope Festival. National radio station RadioWave is reporting the event, highlighting the participation of the 5 MME acts.

As the temperature rises, so does the anticipation for a season filled with unforgettable experiences, vibrant performances, and joyful gatherings at the many festivals in Europe. This year's festival summer promises to showcase the very best of European emerging talent, including many of the Music Moves Europe Awards winners and nominees of the 2023 edition. They have a dazzling number of 26 bookings as a part of ESNS Exchange program, at the most influential major festivals across Europe and abroad. The current number 1 on the ESNS Exchange chart is one of the MME-awards 2023 artist; The Haunted Youth. 

The extensive presence of MME nominees, winners and alumni in the European festival lineups in 2023 is boasting an incredible blend of emerging European acts of all genres. These MME Artists are representing a true overview of the European sound of today and tomorrow. 

About Music Moves Europe Awards

The Music Moves Europe Awards is the European Union Prize for popular and contemporary music that celebrates the emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow. With the Music Moves Europe Awards, the European Commission aims to put a spotlight on the most interesting new European talents – and to showcase the richness of the European music industry. These annual awards are designed to accelerate the international careers of upcoming European acts. 

Each year, 15 outstanding nominated artists are eligible for five Music Moves Europe Awards, the acclaimed Grand Jury Award, and the Public Choice Award. The Music Moves Europe Awards winners of 2023 were announced at the Awards Ceremony on January 19th at ESNS Festival in Groningen, The Netherlands. MME Awards is organized with support from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Province of Groningen and the City of Groningen. The awards are granted  in close cooperation with the European Commission and financially supported by Creative Europe.
