L'Armonia Terrena

The L‘Armonia Terrena Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra is an ensemble of top instrumentalists in the field of solo, chamber and orchestral music, led by the prominent artistic personality of concertmaster Jan Valta (including the Herold Quartet). The orchestra was founded in 2014 by conductor and renaissance musical personality Zdeněk Klauda on the occasion of the project of the solo album of soprano Simona Šaturová "Decade" with operatic works by two musical geniuses of classicism Josef Mysliveček and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart published the same year by Nibiru Publishers. Since 2016, the orchestra has been a regular guest of festivals and prestigious organizers, where the audience is mainly represented by works by Czech masters of the 18th and 19th centuries. Members of leading Czech chamber ensembles (eg Czech Philharmonic Quartet, Baborák Ensemble, Herold Quartet, Sedláček Quartet, Doležal Quartet, Hans Krásy String Quartet, etc.), leading Czech orchestras (Czech Philharmonic, National Theater) and young outstanding soloists play together under the brand L'Armonia Terrena on modern instruments, but with regard to the stylistic distinctiveness of the interpreted repertoire. Thanks to this, their recording of the world premiere of Ryb's Latin Stabat Mater also won the prestigious DIAPASON découverte award. Rybovo Stabat mater orchestra will perform in Prague on April 7, 2020 in the church of St. Simon and Judy in the chamber cycle of the Prague Symphony Orchestra of the City of Prague FOK. In September 2019, the orchestra released a new CD with Nibiru Publishers again, recording the world premiere of Antonín Rejcha's Requiem, and the same company is expected to release a CD with Jakub Jan Ryba's Missa Solemnis in C per Festo Resurrectionis by the end of 2019. The orchestra will perform this Ryb's work in concert on May 18, 2020 in the Basilica on Svatá Hora near Příbram as part of the 3rd Jakub Jan Ryba Festival.
