Vladivojna La Chia

Singer, composer, lyricist, artist, renaissance woman of contemporary modern music. Not genre classifiable, yet familiar with every genre. Since 2001, she has appropriated and bent selected genres in an original and with unique playfulness and creativity, thus creating her own. She has given successful concerts abroad in the USA (eg Kennedy Center - Millennium Stage), Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Poland or Slovakia.
Vladivojna has so far released 14 albums based on such different styles as punk, rock, funk, metal, pop, folk, electronics, jazz and classical music. The album Tajemství Lotopu (2009) won the Tais Awards for Album and Song of the Year and also became the top album of the month in the iconic Berlin music store Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus. She released her last album and historically the first LP to the Heroes of Our Time in 2020. The album concludes her five-year relationship with the literary work of Russian poet and journalist Anna Barkova and is a prime example of Vladivojna's authentic personal approach to the text and her extraordinary composing and arranging skills.
A special recital of movie 8 heads of madness is also dedicated to Anna Barkov. In addition to producing her student projects, she also composes film and theater music. In 2011 she was nominated for the Czech Lion and the Czech Film Critics Award for music for the film Innocence (Jan Hřebejk), in 2017 she was nominated for the Czech Lion for the best music for the film 8 Heads of Madness (Marta Nováková). She is also the author of music for the successful HBO series Up to the Ears (Jan Hřebejk).
