Composer Petr Bakla appeared in this year's prestigious Bandcamp Daily: The Best Contemporary Classical Music of 2025 selection with his latest album. The international editorial team praised his precise work with form, spatiality, and structure, thanks to which Bakla has long been one of the most original voices in contemporary Czech music.
The album, which was created with the support of the SoundCzech program, among others, caught the curators' attention with its concentrated energy, subtle internal logic, and distinctive authorial style. Its inclusion alongside the most prominent contemporary artists confirms the growing international visibility of Czech contemporary music.
