Open call for Eastern European Music Academy is out now!

Music Export Ukraine is pleased to announce the open call for Eastern European Music Academy. Young musicians and managers aged 18-30 from Eastern and Central Europe and Baltic countries are invited to apply for a three-month hybrid project that helps independent music representatives advance their careers.

The Academy will include classes from internationally renowned experts, including the biggest promoter in the world Live Nation, one of the most powerful labels on the continent Global Records, and DIY companies with experience of working with the major labels to mention a few. Successful applicants will participate in a 12-week course and attend the Mastering the Music Business conference in Romania.

Over the next few years, EEMA will offer a unique opportunity for musicians and managers to learn about current music business rules and develop their own careers, meet high-profile industry professionals, and be part of the vibrant music community from the whole region. The first iteration of the Academy will commence on April 20th, 2023, will run for 12 weeks, and will finish at Mastering the Music Business conference in Romania for the most successful students. 

The open call for the EEMA Spring 2023 course is out on March 1st, 2023. The number of spots is limited to 50. If you match the following criteria, feel free to apply: independent music professionals in Eastern and Central Europe, as well as the Baltic region young people between 18 and 30 years old (a 10% quota for candidates in other age groups is available) with a strong motivation to advance their career in the music industry and grow their professional network

Selected applicants for the spring iteration of EEMA will receive a notification of acceptance via email shortly after applying.
